MPK on Vacation!

MPK on Vacation! Actually, I can't say it was entirely a vacation. It was a 'Vakrab' - Vacation and Makrab.

So, MPK Padmanaba decided to spend a night in villa located at Jalan Kaliurang, named Grha Kalyana. We slept over, playing games, telling stories, and watching movies far into the night. But the main agenda was to explain the results of Studi Banding Padmanaba in Semarang, a month ago. We had a nice Sunday morning after spending a night. These are some of the photos.

Jogja Care for Cancer Kids Foundation.

After having a blast in MPK on Vacation, I attended a social activity organized by Padmanaba Smoothie Socialholic Club in Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Jogja (YKAKJ), Jogja Care for Cancer Kids Foundation. There were only four kids. The rest were in the hospital, undergoing their healing process. Most of them suffer from blood cancer (leukemia). We played together with them, we also watched movies and sang a song together. I took some photos with the kids.

Let me introduce you my new buddy, his name is Ilham.

Even though they were sick, but their spirits seemed like normal person. Keep holding on, mates! Don't give up! My thought and prayer will always for all of you.

I had a breathtaking conversation with Ilham, completely left me in no words.

Me     :   "Pokoknya, Ilham harus janji sama aku. Ilham harus sembuh ya! Kalau aku sini lagi,   Ilham harus sudah sembuh! Bismillah."
Ilham  :   "Kalau aku nggak sembuh gimana, Mas?"

Insya Allah kamu pasti sembuh, Ham. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
